How to make a request

Email hello@vinraven.ca with the subject line Data deletion request. Tell us:

• The email address or phone number you used, so we can find your records.
• Which business website you were chatting with, if you remember it.
• Whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific conversation.

You do not need an account to make a request, and there is no charge.

If you reached us through Facebook or Instagram

Messages and comments you send to a VinRaven page through Facebook or Instagram are handled the same way. Email the address above and say which platform and which account you used. You can also remove our access at any time from your Facebook settings, under Apps and Websites, which stops any further information reaching us.

What gets deleted

• Your conversation history with the chat assistant.
• Contact details you submitted through a form, chat, or booking.
• Any lead or ticket record created from your enquiry.
• Appointment records, unless the appointment has already happened and the business needs it for their own records.

What we may have to keep

We keep the minimum required, and only where the law or a genuine business record requires it. That means billing records for tax purposes, and security logs for a short period. It does not include your conversations.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 calendar days. If the law requires us to retain a specific record or permits an extension, we explain what must be kept, why, and for how long.

Closing a business account

If you are a VinRaven customer rather than a visitor, closing your account removes your customer records after 30 calendar days. This period starts when the account closes; records are not deleted simply because they were created 30 days ago. Export any records you need before that deadline, or email us to request earlier deletion. Records we must retain by law follow the exceptions above.
